9:00 A.M., MONDAY, MARCH 30, 2020

AGENDA

 

 

1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL - Chairman

 

2. STATEMENT OF COMPLIANCE WITH OPEN MEETING ACT. Please note that this meeting may include teleconferencing pursuant to 25 O.S. § 307.1(C): Chairman Newt Stephens Jr. will attend the meeting in person or remotely by teleconference. Vice-Chairman Leon Warner will attend this meeting in person or remotely by teleconference. Commissioner Lane Whitehouse will attend the meeting in person or remotely by teleconference. Any member choosing to teleconference will be utilizing the county's telephone system conference call program and will be heard and listening through the Polycom intercom phone. - Chairman

 

3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE AND INVOCATION - Chairman
 

4. Discussion and possible action in consideration of approval or disapproval of prior meeting minutes for both the regular and emergency meetings held on March 23, 2020.
 

5. Discussion and possible action to consider, review, approve, or disapprove pending purchase orders for: the general, highway, health, cash accounts and community development block grant funds; transfers; monthly appropriations; emergency purchase orders; various county officers' contracts; monthly reports and various contracts and change orders. The Verification Report on all purchase orders being paid is available for public inspection during the meeting. For questions, please see the County Clerk.
 

6. Discussion and possible action of new business.  (In accordance with the Open Meeting Act, Title 25 O.S. § 311 (A) (9), new business is defined as any matter not known about or which could not have been reasonably foreseen within 24 hours of this meeting.)
 

7. Discussion and public sale of property described as 301 South Jones Avenue in Drumright - Treasurer's Office.
 

8. Discussion and public sale of property described as 111 East Oak Street in Drumright - Treasurer's Office.
 

9. Discussion and possible action to consider and adopt a resolution relating to the incurring of indebtedness by the trustees of the Creek County educational facilities authority for the benefit of elementary school district no. 8, Creek County, Oklahoma (Lone Star Public Schools); authorizing the sale of revenue obligations; waiving competitive bidding with respect thereto and related matters.
 

10. Discussion and possible action to consider investigation, mapping, making a cost estimate, and giving notice for a public hearing to determine if South 84th West Avenue, between South 85th West Avenue and 191st Street South, should be added to the Official Creek County Road Maintenance Inventory in District #1.
 

11. Discussion and possible action to consider entering an agreement with Rave Wireless, Inc. d/b/a Rave Mobile Safety for a county employee alert system.
 

12. Discussion and possible action to consider using the ACCO deductible fund to pay for damages to a District #2 vehicle due to hitting a deer on March 9, 2020.
 

13. Discussion and possible action to consider approving a utility permit request from Scissortail Energy, L.L.C. to cross West 281st Street South approximately .5 miles east of the South 465th West Avenue point in District #3.
 

14. Discussion and possible action to consider approving a utility permit request from Scissortail Energy, L.L.C. to cross South 465th West Avenue approximately 50 feet north of the West 281st Street South point in District #3.
 

15. Discussion and possible action on updating, modifying, or taking any additional protective measures or emergency action regarding the COVID-19 virus outbreak.

The Board, in its discretion, may allow comments from the public on agenda items and may also limit the duration of any and all comments allowed.
