The Board of County Commissioners of Creek County (BOCC) met in Regular

Session on Monday, December 30, 2019 at 9:00 a.m., date and time duly posted.

Item #1: Meeting was called to order at 9:02 a.m. by Chairman,Leon Warner. Roll Call Warner present, Stephens present,and Whitehouse absent, Roy Smith, First Deputy sitting in.

Item #2: Statement of compliance with open meetings act-Chairman.

Item #3: Commissioner Warner led the Pledge of Allegiance and Stephens Invocation.

Item #4: Motion was made by Stephens and seconded by Warner to approve the minutes of December 23, 2019 with correction to item #9 adding grant total $60,000.00. Vote as follows: Warner - Aye, Stephens - Aye, Smith - Aye.

Item #6: NO DISCUSSION of new business. (In accordance with the Open Meetings Act, Title 25 O.S. § 311(A)(9), new business defined as any matter not known about or which could not have been reasonably foreseen within 24 hours of this meeting.

Item #7: Motion was made by Stephens and seconded by Warner to sign Resolution#2019-143 calling for the Annual Fair Board Election, filing dates are January 13th through January 17th , 2020, with the election to be held on February 1, 2020. Locations will be as follows District #1 317 E. Lee Avenue, Sapulpa District #2 10920 S. HWY 99, Drumright and District #3 620 Industrial Road, Bristow. Vote as follows: Warner - Aye, Stephens - Aye, Smith - Aye.
    

Item #8: Motion was made by Stephens and seconded by Warner to sign Resolutuion#2019-144 directing the Creek County Treasurer to credit the Law Enforcement Memorial Fund with funds from the Officer Down Memorial Page, Inc. to be used to restore, replace, or creation of a memorial honoring officers who have died in the line of duty for the Law Officer Memorial damage in the May 2019, tornado in the amount of $1000.00. Stephens stated that this was a grant that the Sheriff had filed for and received. Vote as follows: Warner - Aye, Stephens - Aye, Smith - Aye.

Item #9: Motion was made by Warner and seconded by Stephens to sign Resolution#2019-145 directing the Creek County Treasurer to credit the Creek County General Government Insurance Account 001-1-2300-1222/R4 with funds from Benefit Resources, Inc., in the amount of $71.98, as per Title 68 § 335, and procedures implemented by the State Auditor's Office.  Vote as follows: Warner - Aye, Stephens - Aye, Smith - Aye.

Item #10: Motion was made by Stephens and seconded by Warner to approve Utility Permit from Creek County Rural Water District #2 per County Spec's for water line service by boring 35' ditch to ditch, size of line 1", size of casing 2" to cross Hilton Road approximately 2300' W. of 49th W. Ave & Hilton Rd further described as Section 29, T18N, R12E in District #1. Vote as follows: Warner - Aye, Stephens - Aye, Smith - Aye.

Public Comment: Warner stated if anyone is planning on celebrating New Year's and are driving to be careful. Charles Betzler, Sapulpa Times stated that per the news article Oklahoma is the second most dangerous place to drive state on New Year's Eve, this was through a study conducted.

Adjournment: Motion was made by Warner and seconded by Stephens at 9:17 a.m. to adjourn and meet again 1-6-2020. Vote as follows: Warner - Aye, Stephens - Aye, Smith - Aye.
